Compatible Microchip PIC ICD2 Debuggerr and Programmer

The ICD 2 module connects between the PC and the users target board allowing direct in circuit debugging, in real time, of the target microcontroller. It can also be used as a programmer to download programs to the target microcontroller. The In-Circuit Debugger 2 (MPLAB ICD 2) allows the debugging of a range of PIC microcontrollers through the MPLAB Integrated Development Environment (IDE) graphical user interface. Programs may be executed in real time or single step, watch variables established, break points set, memory read/writes accomplished and more.

1 Using Ubicom's microcontroller, the BS2SX-IC improved speed, larger program memory, and fastest serial I/O than all BASIC Stamps except for the BS2p. Great solution for those needing more horsepower than a BS2-IC (2.5 times faster). For even higher-performance, you may upgrade to the BS2pt.
1 The BASIC Stamp is a micro controller developed by Parallax, Inc. which is easily programmed using a form of the BASIC programming language. It is called a “Stamp” simply because it is close to the size of an average postage stamp, except for the BS2p40 which is much longer due to it's additional I/O pins.
1 Does the BASIC Stamp lose its program when I remove the battery or power supply?
1 No, your BASIC code is stored inside a serial EPROM on-board the BASIC Stamp. EEPROMs provide non-volatile storage; they retain memory even without power. The EPROM used in the BASIC Stamp 1 and 2 is guaranteed to function properly for 40 years and for 10,000,000 write cycles per memory location. The EPROM used in the BASIC Stamp 2e and 2sx, 2p is guaranteed for 1,000,000 write cycles per memory location.
